My Access Class
by Sonali Shrestha, Access Gorkha
We have to know
What our duty is,
We have to use it
As a great opportunity
We have to feel
This is the Access class
We mustn't smash our dream
As like the glass
From this class
We can know the world
We can make our life
Similar to gold
We must be disciplined
And creative student
It helps us
In our every moment
It is the light
As like the moon at night
It makes our life
Happy and bright.
What the life is!
by Anju Bhattari, Access Bhairawa
I don’t know what the life is
Full of the joy or full of the sorrow
It is wide or more than narrow,
I don’t know what the life is
I only remember how my childhood was
It was very fun and more than very good.
But, Now I don’t know,
May I miss my life, without making any aim, or
The life itself, like a funny game,
But again I don’t know what the life is?
Bulky books and heavy bags, spotless well iron school dress or,
Sometime rags but anyhow,
But now I began to know, life is
Joyful and charming like me, an honest lass
All these knowledge that I gained when I joined my Access class,
My Access class.
The Great Wall of China
by Sandeep Kurmi, Access Bhairawa
I’ve built a wall
A long, long wall
No other wall is longer.
I’ve built a wall
A tall, tall wall
No other wall is taller.
I’ve built a wall
A thick, thick wall
No other wall is thicker.
I’ve built a wall
That is the longest of all.
That will never fall
Said the Emperor of china.
Teach me to learn…
by Jay Prakash Chaudhary, Access Bhairahawa
You teach me to learn which I couldn’t learn
As a potter does to its pot.
When I am disheartened make me smile,
As a mirror does to its profile.
When I am lost, show me the way,
As a devotee gets to his pray.
When I am in worry, give me the pride,
As a groom does to his bride.
Do not judge me by the marks I have obtained,
Judge me by the efforts that I have made.
Do not insult me in front of my friends,
Let me learn my mistake and way to mend.
Let me learn to live and live to learn,
Before it could be too late to mourn.
Poet Devkota
by Indu Gyawali, Access Bhairahawa
One who was poor in economy
He was rich in knowledge,
One who had no proud
But had a lot of respect.
No one is with him
But he is with all of us.
By missing his members he was weeping
But by missing him all of us and Nepal is weeping.
Funny Poem
by Gobina Adhikari, Access Kathmandu
One day at night
Three boys woke up to fight.
Turning back, they looked at each other,
Taking out their gun, they shot one another.
Two deaf policeman, hearing the noise
Came to rescue the two dead boys.
If you do not believe this story
Ask the blind man who saw it too.
Life
by Binita Adhikari, Access Kathmandu
Earth, Moon or Sun,
Wherever we go, it is fun.
Life is short but flexible,
Utilize it to become able
Don’t miss the opportunity
Seek to excel with superiority,
That is what life is
So, enjoy your life
To the fullest
But,
Do not make it too much,
Or, your life becomes brittle
And, it may end too soon.

Hey, my mother you are great,
I love you very much
I pray god
You do not become sad.
Hey! mother smile once
You teach me always
Do not become sad
I take your advice
To take of myself and
Reading hard.
If you stay in this earth
May you get happy
I try to fulfill the dream
That you set for me
Your lovely daughter

Teacher
by Sangita Rana, Access Gorkha
There are many teachers in this world;
They tell students to be bold
Teachers always show their interest
They spend their time to invest
As they want to share their knowledge the best
Teachers tell us to be good
We should keep them in happy mood
Teachers tell us to use our mind
When we have leisure time.
Teachers make us good from bad
Remember not to make them sad
Teachers always show us right way
What they say we need to obey
Teachers are our caretakers
As they want to be good in future
Teachers are the person
Whom we should respect
They give us education to be perfect
They are like our guest
I want to say Teachers are the best.

Nature
Anita Gurung, Access Gorkha
The beautiful creation of nature,
Friend and lover of all living creatures,
All the things that nature gave us as gifts,
Which makes us very rich.
In all corners of every direction,
It makes beautiful decoration,
Source of big rivers and forests,
Habitat of gods and goddesses.
All the resources of nature,
Which has special features,
Amazing and fantastic gift of god,
Where we can find different creatures a lot.
Everywhere beautiful creatures and scene,
There is everywhere green and green ,
From which we can learn to live with happiness,
Which is the matter of glory for us.
